Jonathan F. McCabe joined the Union League Club (ULC) of Chicago as General Manager in 1992. In 1999, he was also named Chief Operations Officer. In 2004, McCabe was named Club Manager of the Year. Since its inception in 1879, the ULC has been a contributing partner in the growth and development of the city of Chicago.
McCabe serves as the Chairman of the West Suburban Mass Transit District, a qausi-governmental agency that provides funding for communities to support commuter rail transportation. He formerly chaired the Clarendon Hills Beautification Committee and he served on the Community Council for Goodwill Industries of Metropolitan Chicago, a social service agency that provides job training for disabled individuals. In 2005, McCabe also began serving as a Director for the USO.
McCabe is a member of the Chicago 502, a civilian support group for the Army’s elite volunteer 502nd Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division.
Additional professional affiliations include membership in the National Club Association and the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. He earned a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, worked on his MBA at Arizona State University and was a decorated officer in the US Army.
