Joerg Oberschmied serves as Chief Operating Officer for Premium Espresso, a wholly owned retail subsidiary of Lavazza, Italy’s leading coffee company. Prior to this, Mr. Oberschmied advised major league sports and retail & entertainment clients from around the world on hospitality related business matters. His operational experience includes serving as opening General Manager for foodservice operations at Navy Pier, Chicago’s Premier Lakefront attraction. Before that he served in various executive positions for Hilton Hotels. Mr. Oberschmied completed initial schooling in Switzerland and received his M.B.A. degree from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom. He speaks fluent German and Italian.
