In honor of its 50th Anniversary, Chicago Sister Cities International (CSCI) will for the first time host the Chicago Consular Corps Ball in 2010, honoring the 79 countries that make up the Corps. This black-tie event will pay special tribute to Patrick G. Ryan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Ryan Specialty Group, by honoring him with the 2010 Global Citizen Award for his contribution to carrying out the Chicago Consular Corp’s mission in Chicago.
Chaired by Mayor Richard M. and Mrs. Maggie Daley. Special guests include Patricia Maza Pittsford, Dean of the Consular Corps, and her husband Phillip Pittsford; Sam Scott, Chairman of the Board of CSCI and his wife Dona Scott; Consuls Generals representing 79 countries throughout the world; and members of the Chicago Sister Cities International, business and civic communities.
