Swinging Shanghai is returning to Maxim’s in a celebration of 1920s-1930s Shanghai as “Paris of the East” to benefit the China Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International. The black tie gala, to be held November 17, 2009, will feature a cocktail reception, silent auction and live entertainment.

Parking is available at 1258 N. State Parkway for $12 with validation from Maxim’s.

This year’s gala will serve as a conclusion to the Green Building Technology Conference, bringing together U.S. and China-based officials and business leaders on the topic of sustainable building best practices and opportunities.
