The Center for Asian Arts and Media at Columbia College Chicago, in collaboration with the Chicago Sister Cities International China Committee, the City of Chicago and the Chinese Consulate of Chicago, is proud to present a special performance by the Tianjin Dance Drama and Opera Troupe on tour from China for its first U.S. performance.
The spectacle, part of Chinese Cultural Week in Chicago – From the Great Wall to the Great Lakes July 19-25, will showcase four types of Chinese music, from an all-girls live band, to folk music to Chinese drumming to classical music.
