The Consulate General of Mexico in cooperation with The National Museum of Mexican Art and The Mexico City Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International will host a Kick Off reception for Mexico 2010, commemorating the Bicentennial of Mexico’s Independence and the Centennial of the Mexican Revolution.
A calendar of civic, academic and cultural events to take place between March and November will be presented and a concert, featuring the music of Mexican composer Manuel M. Ponce, will follow.
