Opening Ceremony for Chinese Cultural Week in Chicago

Please join us for the Opening Ceremony for Chinese Cultural Week in Chicago, Monday July 20 at 12:00 p.m.

This event highlights the various events that are a part of Chinese Cultural Week in Chicago – “From the Great Wall to the Great Lakes” and provides an opportunity for everyone to experience the wealth of China’s Arts and Cultural Communities.

Performances will include the Tianjin Dance Drama and Opera House on tour from China, excerpts from “Qi Xi – The Story of Niulang and Zhinu” by the Chinese Fine Arts Society and “Bright Spirit” by Cirque Shanghai. Chinese Cultural Week is presented by the Chinese Consulate General in Chicago, the City of Chicago and Chicago Sister Cities International.
