Through the initiative of Professor Kuboi of the Osaka University San Francisco Center, the Osaka Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International will be co-hosting a seminar that will feature Dr. Minoru Asada.
Dr. Asada is a pioneer in the field that utilizes robots in researching the emergence of intelligence and its development. His current research in the Asada Laboratory collaborates with brain, sensory and recognition science for the development of robotics technology. Furthermore, the Jst Erato Asada Project has been receiving recognition as a project that would further knowledge, not only in robotic research, but various fields of life sciences in the future.
The Asada Evening Talk will consist of an hour lecture drawn from one of Dr. Asada’s specialized robotics event that received rave reviews for having been presented in an interesting and comprehensible way for all individuals.
