Accessible Contemporary Music, in conjunction with the Chicago Sister Cities International Program, presents the final concert of the Composer Alive: Paris project.
The concert will feature the World Premiere of Sextet, a new work written for ACM by Internationally recognized Paris based composer Stéphane Delplace and the music of other living French composers will also be performed. Mr. Delplace will be present.
Stéphane Delplace wrote Sextet in four installments over the summer of 2008 as part of a collaboration between ACM and Chicago’s Sister Cities International Program. Each installment was emailed to ACM and recorded in an open rehearsal at the Chicago Cultural Center.
