PETACH TIKVA: Avner Dorman’s “Jerusalem Mix” with the Chicago Chamber Musicians

The Petach Tikva Committee of the Chicago Sister Cities International Program, in a collaboration with Jerusalem Chamber Music Festival, is sponsoring the North American debut of Israeli composer Avner Dorman’s chamber orchestra piece with the Chicago Chamber Musicians. The piece, entitled Jerusalem Mix, features a melange of Christian, Jewish and Muslim musical traditions and Avner’s 2004 sonatas.

October’s concerts at Chicago Chamber Musicians are particularly special, as they feature CCM’s first collaboration with the prestigious Jerusalem Chamber Music Festival.

The event will be held Sunday, October 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Anne and Howard Gottlieb Hall at the Merit School of Music. 38 S. Peoria Street, Chicago, IL 60607

Tickets range from $20 to $40
