TORONTO: “Doors Open Toronto” trip

The Toronto Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International will host a trip to Toronto for the 10th anniversary of “Doors Open Toronto” on Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, and invite you to celebrate with them.  As part of this celebration, more than 175 buildings of architectural, historic, cultural, and/or social significance open their doors to the public for free tours. The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) has offered Chicago participants an exclusive docent-led tour of the museum’s architecture, newly re-designed by Daniel Libeskind on Friday, May 22 in the afternoon prior to the Doors Open Toronto kick-off event from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m , also at the ROM.

Porter Airlines has partnered with the Chicago Architecture Foundation and is offering a discounted airfare which is valid May 19-26th. To book your flight, go to the Porter Airlines website http://www.flyporter.com/ and use the discount code CAF15. **You must book your travel by May 24**.
