The Vilnius Committee of Sister Cities International and the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture are hosting annual Christmas ornament workshop. Learn how to make your own traditional Lithuanian Christmas tree ornaments using straws and make them into shapes of stars, sun, snowflakes, bells and angels.
When: Saturday, December 5, 2009, at 11 a. m.
Where: Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture, 6500 S. Pulaski Rd., Chicago 60629.
Fee: Museum members – $ 12.00; Non-members – $ 15.00, Children under 12 – $ 6.00
Fee includes: straws, needle, thread and instructions sheet and free admission to the Museum.
After the workshop, documentary “Lithuanian Calendar. Festivities, Customs, Traditions” will be shown. Light refreshments will be served.
