Monday March 1: Birmingham Chamber of Commerce reception, hosted by Consul General at his residence.

Tuesday March 2: Science City evening event, Gleacher Center, to promote international collaboration between Birmingham and Chicago in areas of Advanced Materials, Future Fuels and Translational Medicine.

Thursday March 4: Informal reception hosted by Consul General at his residence for participants in Univ Birmingham-U Chicago-Northwestern symposium on social biology of aging and neuroscience of sociality.

Thursday March 11: Reception to welcome Prof David Eastwood, Vice Chancellor and Principal of University of Birmingham (and Deputy Chair Marshall Aid Commission, London), hosted by Consul General at his residence. This reception is being used to gather Marshall scholars living in the Midwest, plus Fellowship advisers from local universities.
