Chicago and Hamburg Sign Memorandum of Understanding

On, April 29, Senator Anja Hajduk, State Minister for Urban Development and Environment of Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, and Suzanne Malec-McKenna, the City of Chicago’s Commissioner of the Department of Environment, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two cities aimed for cooperation in the areas of environmental protection and “green building”. The meeting was also attended by the Chicago Sister Cities Hamburg Committee Chair – Rolf Achilles and Vice Chair – Christoph Lichetenfeld.
