CHICAGO, IL (August, 2010) – The Lahore and Humanitarian Committees of Chicago Sister Cities International will host an event in the Chicago Cultural Center’s Preston Bradley Hall on August 30, 2010, to raise awareness and much needed funds for those devastated by floods in Pakistan. Daley and Secretary of State Jesse White will co-host the event, featuring a keynote address by Senator Durbin regarding the United States’ relief efforts in Pakistan following the recent floods.
