We need YOUR help!
Chicago Sister Cities International (CSCI) is proud to partner with Share Your Soles for a Chicago Sister Cities International City-Wide Shoe Drive. Share Your Soles is a Chicagoland not-for-profit that collects, cleans and delivers gently-used shoes to people living in some of the most desperate and poor conditions in the world. They have distributed more than one million pairs of shoes to over 40 countries throughout the world, providing people with a means of transportation, improved health, education and, in turn, a better life.
We need YOUR help to make this drive a success!
There are several ways to become involved:
1. Host a shoe drop-off location- In your office or building premise, condo association, fitness center/spa, church, child’s school or volunteer organization.
2. Donate your gently-used shoes to one of our drop-off points. Men, women and children’s shoes are all needed, especially gym shoes and cleats. Check www.shareyoursoles.com for drop-off locations.
3. Volunteer your time – Help sort shoes at the Share Your Soles warehouse, or help pick up and deliver shoes.
4. Donate funds – to help with the costs of shoe sorting, cleaning, packaging and shipping costs.
