Mayor Richard M. Daley traveled to Amman, Jordan, to co-host the 2nd U.S. Arab Mayor’s Forum with His Excellency Mayor Maani. The forum aims to share best practices for municipal leaders in the areas of education, public safety, and the economy.

Mrs. Daley and Amman committee members accompanied the mayor, visiting the King Hussein Cancer Center, for which the Amman Committee has raised over $70,000 in 2008 and donated $200,000 in hearing aides and training..
