This modest financial support program is to aid those departments/schools who need support and supplementary funds to carry out a worthy project that would be unfunded or under funded. Projects should bear a relationship to the promotion of French language and culture in Paris/Chicago and should be a project of common interest to American and French students. Financial support will not be given for personal research or travel abroad to research the project or for personal enlightenment. Funding will be granted after the project has been approved, and after the project has received enough funds to be carried out successfully. After the application has been received, the Committee will notify the applicant within six weeks as to whether the project will be partially funded.
