Dvořák: Requiem
The Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus provide a rare opportunity to hear Dvořák’s richly expressive and passionate choral masterpiece; this work was among the most popular choral works of his lifetime.
The Prague Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International supports this program through a special evening gathering on Friday, August 13 at 5:00 p.m., prior to the 6:30 p.m. concert at the 312 Garden Tent (yellow tent on the east side of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion) in Millennium Park. Refreshments will be on a cash basis. A special section will be reserved at the tent as well as the pavilion seating bowl, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please RSVP to sistercities@cityofchicago.org by August 11.
*Reserved tickets will be available at a small check-in table on the east side of the pavilion or at the pre-concert reception area in the tent on August 13.
