The July 20 Opening Ceremony of Chinese Cultural Week in Chicago – from the Great Wall to the Great Lakes, featured song and dance presentations on Daley Plaza from 12 – 1 p.m. and remarks by local dignitaries.
Performance highlights included acts by the Little Star Dance Troupe, presented by the Fine Arts Society, Cirque Shanghai: Bright Spirit, and the Tianjin Dance Drama and Opera House troupe.
