This event, celebrating the benefits of international education and multicultural exchange, will kick off International Education Week 2008 in Chicago.
Tony Jones, Chancellor of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Fullbrighter himself, will be our Keynote Speaker. Tony will share memories of his Fullbright experience at Tulane University in the mid-1960s and his perspective on the value of International Education for those dedicated to the creative pursuits in the arts and humanities. The luncheon will include a panel discussion by visiting Fullbright Students and U.S. Fullbrighters from the School of the Art Institute.
Following the luncheon, tours of the Art Institute of Chicago’s “360 degrees: Art Beyond Borders” exhibitions will be offered, compliments of the Chicago Chapter of the Fullbright Association and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. This international educational exchange celebration is supported by the Midwest Regional Center of the Institute of International Education, the International Visitors Center of Chicago, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and the World Trade Center of Illinois.
