Japanese Heritage Night: Chicago Fire vs Colorado Rapids

Kosuke Kimura on the Colorado Rapids is the first and only Japanese player in Major League Soccer. This is Kosuke’s 3rd season in the MLS after a very successful college career at Western Illinois University. Born in Kanagawa, Japan, Kosuke and the Rapids will battle Chicago’s McBride, Blanco and the rest of the Fire!

DATE: Sunday August 23
(FireFest celebrating Japanese Heritage begins at 3:30pm, and the Soccer Game begins at 5pm)

As an added bonus, the first 30 tickets purchased for kids 12 years old and younger will participate unaccompanied in the Tunnel of Fire. Each child will receive a free T Shirt and see the players up close by being on the field before the game during the National Anthem and starting line-ups!

Pre-game: Enjoy FireFest inside Gate C. Entertainment includes Japanese arts demonstrations such as Aikido along with music, food, and interactive games.
