“My Mother’s Song” art exhibit by Valentyna Sanina at the Ukrainian National Museum.

Exhibit opens Friday, March 5th and continues through March 21st.

“Human art for human lives” is the way that Valentina Sanina describes her work, a description whose simplicity belies the depth of meaning behind it. She has dedicated her exhibit of pen and ink, oils and beaded oil paintings to her mother and to Ukraine – her motherland.
