Pastels by Tatijana Jacenkiw, Friday, November 6, 2009 at 7:00 pm
Exhibit continues through November 29, 2009
Tatijana Jacenkiw, a local artist, celebrates her artistic talent and her Ukrainian heritage in her work. Working primarily in pastels, the artist successfully captures the essence, tells a story, and conveys a mood by using her imaginative techniques of mixing colors, layering cross hatching and strokes that give her work iridescence. Tatijana‘s work, while mostly figurative, also includes florals, still life, and landscapes. Her emotional connection with her subject matter is evident her beautiful and unique paintings. The exhibit continues through November 29th.
