LITHUANIAN FILM FESTIVAL OPENS IN CHICAGO JANUARY 21, 2010
Festival Features Groundbreaking Works By Emerging Lithuanian Filmmakers

(December 2009) – The Lithuanian Film Festival, presented by the Chicago Sister Cities International Vilnius Committee and the Consulate General of The Republic of Lithuania in Chicago, will run January 21-26 in Chicago. The festival, opening January 21 at the Chicago Cultural Center, will feature recent works by emerging Lithuanian filmmakers and new trends in Lithuanian cinema. The screenings will include short and full-length films and will be introduced by film director and CEO of “Era Film” Rasa Miskinyte from Vilnius. Discussions will follow the screenings.

All events are free to the public. Films are subtitled in English. Please see below for a full line-up:
